When something's broke. . .

you put a little fixer on it.
and when the fixer goes out, you're on your own.

oh how close we come and don't even realize it.
especially when the decisions branch so easily and grow so large and mean and powerful.
[and]
people look at you funny when you try to cut it at the root.
you know.
cast out all impurities and such, before it goes too far.
just in case.
because everyone knows lazy critics diagnose from the road.
and it seems everyone is too scared to get close enough to look.
to care.
aint it funny? leaves are such a beautiful cover up. until it gets too cold to wear them anymore.
then your withered. and your worry doesn't matter.
and only time will tell how long it takes to wake up. some people might find it.
if they get the chance.
when there's nothing else to do, then someone will care.
